Acadian Ambulance Benefits Overview

Provide pre-hospital basic life support and safe transport of sick or injured patients. Assess patient condition, administer care per protocols, document EMS reports, maintain and test equipment, clean and restock ambulance, transfer patient information to receiving personnel, operate ambulance safely, and perform station duties and training/precepting as assigned.

Provide pre-hospital basic and intermediate life support, patient assessment, treatment and safe transport. Maintain and document patient care, perform equipment checks, restock supplies, clean and service ambulance, and transfer patient information to receiving personnel. May precept trainees and perform basic extrication and scene control when needed.

The EMT provides pre-hospital basic life support care, transports patients, documents care, ensures equipment readiness, and complies with protocols and regulations.
