The Sales Assistant will provide world-class customer service, manage store stock, adhere to company policies, and maintain effective communication. Passion for retail and animals is essential.

Manage end-to-end payroll for ~800 employees including time/clocking processing, leave reconciliation, overtime checks, deductions, new hires/terminations, payroll GL and bank reconciliations, and respond to payroll queries. Also prepare regular financial and stock reports, process company credit card reconciliations, handle payroll cashbook, insurance claims, and general finance admin.

Capture and reconcile store supplier invoices to purchase orders in the accounting system within 24 hours of submission. Monitor supplier cost changes, follow up on invoice queries with stores, and assist with general office data capture to support the finance team.

Temporary Financial Accountant covering payroll and financial processing for a national pet retailer. Responsible for end-to-end monthly payroll for ~800 employees, time and clocking reconciliation, GL reconciliations, payroll reporting, credit card and payroll bank reconciliations, staff movement and turnover reporting, and ad-hoc finance administration and insurance claim handling.
