The Chief of Staff to the CTO will enhance the technology organization's execution, accountability, and performance by improving operations, aligning teams to priorities, and facilitating cross-team coordination while reducing the CTO's operational burden.

Develop and own backend features across the lending lifecycle using Python and cloud technologies. Design solutions, participate in the full SDLC, review code, write tests, coordinate deployments, troubleshoot customer-impacting issues, and improve PostgreSQL performance. Collaborate with Product, Design, internal stakeholders, and users to refine requirements. Support junior engineers through code reviews and pairing while maintaining business-critical systems and associated operational KPIs.

Build and ship reliable backend features for a mortgage engineering team using Python and modern backend technologies. Own work end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration. Collaborate across engineering, product, frontend, and external partners while contributing to architecture, APIs, data modeling, performance, security, reliability, and developer experience. The role emphasizes product thinking, ownership, clean code, thoughtful reviews, and growth toward senior-level contribution.
