Leads defined contribution retirement plan administration workflows, quality assurance, compliance testing, filings, distributions, and complex escalations. Reviews team work, oversees regulatory audits and QDRO processing, improves operational processes, maintains documentation, and identifies automation opportunities. Partners with clients, recordkeepers, relationship managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely service and compliance with IRS and DOL requirements.

Manage startup and takeover retirement plan onboarding from project initiation through first contribution. Responsibilities include collecting and validating plan data, drafting plan documents, coordinating recordkeeper setup, reviewing payroll and employee census information, managing required notices, communicating with clients and advisors, tracking milestones, and escalating issues. The role also supports process improvement, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven workflow automation while maintaining accurate records and meeting service-level deadlines.

Owns qualified retirement plan document processes, restatements, amendments, disclosures, takeovers, and correction projects. Develops IRS and DOL correction methodologies, oversees EPCRS and related submissions, interprets ERISA and plan provisions, and serves as the technical escalation point. Partners with plan administration, relationship management, product, design, and engineering teams to improve procedures, automation, AI tooling, and client experiences. Monitors regulatory changes and trains internal teams on compliance requirements.
