Partner with R&D teams to ensure medical devices and combination products meet regulatory and quality standards across the product lifecycle. Support and implement design control processes, participate in design reviews, author and approve design and quality deliverables, manage risk analyses and CAPAs, support investigations, and act as a quality representative to embed quality culture across projects.

Lead a 3–6 person process chemistry/engineering team supporting 4–6 commercial and NPI drug product lines. Own technical accountability for process development, transfers, validation, batch processing, and continuous improvement to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and lower cost. Manage budgets, medium-scale capital projects, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement while ensuring GMP compliance and site strategy alignment.

Lead and facilitate safe, compliant manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. Manage daily deployment and training of team, ensure production schedules, quality and regulatory (cGMP) compliance, oversee changeovers and cycle time, handle hazardous/non-hazardous waste, and drive continuous improvement and employee development.
