Support construction crew by performing physically demanding earthworks tasks: digging, lifting, flagging traffic, signaling equipment operators, working with precast and concrete piping, and assisting equipment operators and gradesman as directed. Follow foreman instructions and perform other site duties; potential to learn light equipment operation.

Support field civil construction by using survey instruments and GPS to establish and verify grades for road, drainage, and piping work. Install layout stakes, assist with culvert and concrete pipe installations, read plans, verify graded surfaces, and perform general labour duties while working closely with operators and supervisors.
