Conduct doctoral research on backscatter-assisted wireless positioning for non-line-of-sight environments. Develop signal models, algorithms, and estimation methods; design software-defined radio prototypes; run simulations and experiments; analyze measurement data; publish findings; complete doctoral studies; and participate in limited teaching and academic activities.

Conduct independent, high-quality research in sustainable business within Aalto University’s Organizations and Management discipline. Publish in leading international journals, develop a personal research agenda, teach one course annually, supervise master’s theses, and potentially contribute to PhD supervision. Candidates should have recently completed or be completing a relevant PhD, demonstrate teaching and international publication capabilities, and work fluently in English. The position is full-time, in-residence, and fixed-term for two years.

Conduct doctoral research in robotics across safe autonomy, semantic communication, distributed situational awareness, and socially aware perception. Responsibilities include developing perception, prediction, planning, mapping, multimodal sensing, behavior modeling, robot coordination, and uncertainty-aware decision-making methods. Researchers will collaborate with academic and industrial partners, validate systems in real-world and simulated environments, and may work at Finnish industrial sites. The role includes applying for doctoral studies at Aalto University.
