Oversee enterprise social media strategy, content development, community management, paid and earned media campaigns, digital storytelling, issues management, and executive visibility. Coordinate organization-wide social media initiatives, manage scheduling and listening platforms, guide multimedia development, analyze performance, and establish strategies for new platforms. Serve as the organization’s social media subject matter expert and lead the Marketing Communications Network Social Media Subgroup.

Supports business operations for Science Advances, including article processing charge administration, author and vendor communications, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Conducts market research to identify opportunities for Science journals and related products, contributes to product planning, and collaborates cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and other teams. The role also supports strategic initiatives, planning meetings, and special projects.

Supports media relations, press material development, media list building, social media content creation, scheduling, community management, digital storytelling campaigns, media monitoring, issues management, and analytics reporting. The role also assists with communications research, administrative duties, and projects for the Office of Communications.

Leads strategic and day-to-day communications for STEMM initiatives, managing content across social media, newsletters, blogs, websites, videos, and presentations. Develops messaging, toolkits, engagement strategies, and communications plans; analyzes performance; supports thought leadership; guides partners; and coordinates with public relations, communications, and public information teams. Serves as the primary liaison between CSEW, the Alliance, and the AAAS Office of Communications while managing complex, multi-partner projects.

Supports AAAS learning and development programs by developing courses, events, and educational content; facilitating virtual and in-person training; managing Learning Hub administration and technology; executing communication and engagement strategies; supporting webinars and annual meeting activities; and monitoring program effectiveness. The role collaborates with subject matter experts, IT, internal teams, and contractors to expand member learning opportunities and improve user experience and content quality.
