Teams at A Caring Alternative, LLC

Provides community-based behavioral health and substance use support to adults as part of a Community Support Team. Responsibilities include participating in team meetings and person-centered planning, encouraging recovery and wellness, modeling recovery values, assisting with crisis interventions, and helping individuals build skills for successful community living across emotional, social, housing, medical, educational, vocational, and legal domains.

Provide community-based peer support for adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders as part of a Community Support Team (CST). Participate in team meetings, person-centered planning, crisis intervention, and model recovery to encourage wellness, resilience, and community integration.

Provide community-based nursing on an ACT team: coordinate services and case management, administer and organize medications with the psychiatrist, conduct physical health assessments and referrals, deliver supportive therapy and symptom management, and advocate for client needs.
