Executive role overseeing all actuarial functions: lead strategy, pricing and product development for annuity and life products, manage liabilities/reserves and financial projections, govern assumptions, coordinate with appointed actuary, handle regulatory and rating agency filings, and manage vendors and cross-functional communication.

Lead and oversee all actuarial functions including pricing and product development for annuity and life products, liability and reserve management (Stat & GAAP), financial projections, assumption governance, vendor/consultant oversight, regulatory and rating agency filings, and cross-functional communication. Serve as primary actuarial liaison to external appointed actuary, regulators, and rating agencies while contributing hands-on to technical processes as needed.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end general ledger reconciliations and journal entries for multiple insurance entities; assist with month/quarter/year-end close and annual statutory filings; research technical accounting issues; resolve bank items and positive pay exceptions; collaborate with Finance and other departments on outstanding items and ad-hoc tasks.
