Develop machine learning and computational workflows for large-scale tandem mass spectrometry and proteomics datasets. Build and evaluate models of peptide fragmentation, curate experimental MS/MS data, integrate peptide and chemical variables, and investigate interpretable fragmentation patterns. The researcher will collaborate with experimental scientists, create reproducible pipelines, and disseminate findings through publications, conferences, and open scientific resources.

Conduct archaeometric research within the CIPP Center and CHART, focusing on analytical and physical-chemical investigation of cultural heritage materials. Develop analytical methods, pursue external funding, lead collaborations and a research group, teach chemistry at bachelor’s and master’s levels, supervise students, contribute to outreach, and participate in departmental administration and educational development.

Conduct research in robotics for laboratory automation, developing flexible robotic systems that manipulate tubes, glass vials, and liquids. Apply visual feedback, robot control, simulation, computer vision, and failure recovery in dynamic environments. Deploy solutions across SDU and DTU laboratories, publish research, support funding activities, contribute to CAPeX deliverables, and collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers. Limited teaching may also be required.
