Develop, test, debug, maintain, and modernize healthcare claims-processing applications in a legacy mainframe environment. Develop, maintain, test, debug, and enhance legacy mainframe health claims-processing systems using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IDz, and CICS. Lead design and maintenance efforts, resolve defects, support operational stability, estimate work, demonstrate solutions to clients, mentor junior developers, and establish development standards. The role operates in a structured SAFe Agile/Scrum environment and requires insurance or healthcare claims experience plus Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Leads requirements gathering, process transformation, gap analysis, functional testing, UAT strategy, documentation, stakeholder management, and mentoring for enterprise mainframe modernization initiatives. Translates business goals into technical requirements and future-state workflows while overseeing validation and system sign-off. Requires extensive business analysis, SDLC, Agile, and stakeholder influence experience; mainframe, Jira, Confluence, healthcare claims, and professional certifications are preferred.
