Researches and implements computer vision and algorithmic solutions for real-world mapping challenges. Owns algorithm quality from experimentation through production, monitors model health, leads remediation, collaborates with data engineering and product teams, and contributes through code reviews and technical knowledge-sharing. The role also involves integrating AI tools into engineering workflows and growing into an architect and team-lead position.

Own product strategy and development for the Utility Owners segment. Conduct customer discovery, identify market opportunities, define positioning and roadmaps, prototype working software with AI tools, and bridge validated concepts to engineering. Track adoption and revenue outcomes while partnering with executives, customers, growth, and engineering. The role requires operating in a 0-to-1 environment, learning a regulated technical domain, and traveling to customer sites and the Austin office as needed.

Build and maintain resilient, highly available cloud infrastructure using Terraform and EKS. Lead GitOps with ArgoCD, manage Grafana-based observability, implement autoscaling (Karpenter), develop Python tooling and AI agents, and integrate automated image scanning and SCA into the SDLC to ensure security and reliability.
