Controller leading accounting for a growing private equity-backed distribution business. Responsibilities include owning the monthly close, technical accounting, financial reporting, audits, tax and banking relationships, cash forecasting, working capital, internal controls, ERP process improvements, and outsourced accounting oversight. The role reports to the CFO, manages one direct report, supports multi-entity integration, and prepares reporting for senior leadership, the board, and investors.

Leads a two-person HR team and partners with organizational leaders on employee experience, leaves, benefits, HRIS administration, workforce data, reporting, and policy compliance. Oversees HRIS accuracy and security, benefits billing reconciliation, leave processes, workforce analysis, and process improvements. Advises managers, protects confidential information, and collaborates with Payroll, Finance, IT, and broader HR teams. This is an onsite leadership role requiring progressive HR experience and strong HR systems and data-management skills.
