Christopher Gardner is a 25-year veteran employee of the University of Michigan. His current responsibilities include organizing, analyzing and visualizing university data to enable data-driven decisions for the president, provost, regents, deans and directors. He also manages and maintains the University of Michigan campus Tableau server. In addition to his full-time position at the university, he is also a trainer and author with O'Reilly Media. He most recently authored a book The Rise of Logical Data Management. In addition, he wrote the Tableau Certified Data Analyst Study Guide, a reference book to assist readers in passing Tableau certification exams. In his spare time, he enjoys lapidary work, woodworking and travel.
