Ari Paparo is an expert on advertising technology. A former Google executive, he
built many of the foundational technologies that allow billions of ads to be bought and sold every day. He was the co-founder and CEO of Beeswax, an innovative ad tech platform that created the industrys first Bidder-as-a-Service. Beeswax was acquired by Comcast in 2021 after raising more than $28 million in funding.

Previously, Ari has held a number of product leadership positions in the adtech and
marketing tech sectors, most recently as EVP of product management for Bazaarvoice, a
publicly traded SaaS company that enables retailers and brands to better connect to their
consumers through ratings, reviews, photos and other user generated content. Formerly,
was the head of product management for AppNexus.

Ari was the primary author of the VAST (Video Ad Serving Template) specification for online video and the patent holder for Nielsens Digital Advertising Ratings.
Currently, Ari is a journalist focused on the advertising business. His
company, Marketecture, publishes a podcast of the same name, as well as
newsletters and events. He is a frequent contributor to AdExchanger, Insider and other industry publications as well as a speaker at advertising industry conferences. He is the author of the new book, Yield: How Google Bought, Built, and Bullied Its Way to Advertising Dominance.
