Zonar Acquires ez enRoute, Launches Zonar Bus Suite to Modernize School Transportation

The acquisition is expected to help school districts modernize their operations cost effectively.

Zonar, a Seattle-based provider of smart fleet management solutions, has acquired ez enRoute, a provider of IoT technology and dynamic routing for pupil transportation. The move will expand Zonar’s capabilities in improving safety, efficiency and reliability for school transit systems.

With this acquisition, Zonar is launching the Zonar Bus Suite, a unified platform designed to integrate with any school district’s transportation system, regardless of whether they already use a routing provider, according to a news releasePowered by ez enRoute’s independent routing engine, the suite offers features such as adaptive route planning, enhanced visibility into student ridership and improved communication tools to help districts modernize their operations cost effectively while improving service for students and families.
