Code School Career Fair by BootcampXchange, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m.

If you have attended a coding school or coding bootcamp and are looking for a career in Austin, come to the Code School Career Fair, which is open to all current students and graduates from any coding school nationwide. You'll meet with 25-30 companies who are actively hiring for positions in digital marketing, product management, front-end development, back-end development, data science, user experience and more.

Feminist Hack Power Hour (network, meet new friends, mingle), Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.

Join us for an after-work happy hour meet-and-greet with fellow feminists in tech! (Don't bring your laptop; it is a purely social gathering.) Bring a friend; all genders are welcome!

20 Sales Hacks (tools and techniques) in 60 minutes, Aug. 10, 11 a.m.

Join Gary Smyth from Sales Elite for an overview of 20 tools, technologies or techniques covering areas such as lead generation, territory planning, pipeline progression, hiring, email automation and more. There will be time for additional questions and the opportunity to share any tools or technologies that you leverage from a sales perspective and help our broader community.

Nerd Night: Techies Trivia, Aug. 11, 7 p.m.

General Assembly is hosting its first ever Nerd Night: Techies Trivia. Do you find yourself scoffing at most pub trivia topics? Do you ever think to yourself, "Does not compute useless information. Need more room for code and code related topics."? If so, then this is the pub trivia night for you! Bring a team of up to 6, and be sure to reserve your spot.

Girl Develop It: Intro to Responsive Web Design, Aug. 13, 12 p.m.

Learn how to make a website responsive. We'll cover best practices, common design patterns, and code. This two-class course runs the weekend, Saturday, August 13, 12-4 p.m., and Sunday, August 14, 12-4 p.m. All attendees should have intermediate HTML & CSS knowledge, and should have a laptop with HTML editing software installed.
