Feltpad
Way back when, we had to wait for days, even weeks to develop film and see the snapshots from a fun event. Then that time period shortened to hours, as we waited for friends to upload pictures to Facebook or Flickr.
Now, thanks to Feltpad’s Mosaic Photo System, we don’t have to wait at all. Mosaic Photo System is an interactive photo app for parties, wedding receptions and other special events. Before the event, the host sets up the service and encourages guests to download the free app on their own devices. When the big day arrives, guests use the app to snap photos. All images are fed to a stream, which is broadcasted live via TVs or a projector. The more pictures, the more fun.

Tula Software
When Maile opened her own yoga studio in Logan Square, she went on the hunt for software to organize her business and website, but quickly found that none of tools on the market were as functional or easy to use as she had hoped. Conveniently enough, Maile’s husband Andrew runs a Chicago software company. So the two got to work building an ideal piece of software just for yoga studios. Tula Software includes an embedded calendar, easy class creation, flexible pass types, user permissions, and performance reports.

Whit.le
The Whit.li API rates relevance between people, content and brands. Their ‘Relevancy Rating’ looks at community members’ rare interests, derived demographics, overall and trending sentiment, and unique personality traits. Brands can then take this profile and determine the interests and personalities of members their community. It’s an opportunity to get to know a little more about your audience.
Whit.li has been covered by CNN, TechCrunch and Programmable Web.
