Economic uncertainty is in the back of many people's minds today, but especially jobseekers, with a new Monster report of recent graduates finding that 67 percent of new workers would take a lower salary in favor of a more stable position.

Job security, and the emotional wellbeing that it brings, counts for a lot in 2026.

Which is why Built In found six senior tech leaders who were eager to share how their employers' metrics, product and roadmap are set up for stability, sustainable growth and job security for talented new teammates.

John Grosshans
President, Field Operations • LogicMonitor

LogicMonitor provides IT and business teams visibility and predictability across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

The clearest indicator of our strength is how we're scaling AI-powered observability across increasingly complex, hybrid environments. Today, we process a trillion metrics daily across more than 5 million devices, creating the data foundation for intelligent automation, real-time insights and emerging agentic IT operations.

A defining milestone this year was our acquisition of Catchpoint. It extends our platform beyond internal infrastructure into the internet layer, enabling true end-to-end observability from data centers and cloud environments to last-mile user experience. As performance becomes more dependent on third-party networks and services, this level of visibility and control is essential.

We've paired this with strong customer momentum. We support nearly 2,900 global customers with approximately 95 percent retention and continued enterprise expansion.

We're defining the next wave of AI-driven IT operations. For engineers and operators, that means working on high-scale data systems, real-world AI applications and products that directly impact how modern businesses run. This is a moment where the technology, the market and the team are all aligned — and that's a rare place to build.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

Our strength is in delivering a unified observability platform powered by AI and agentic automation. With Catchpoint, we've extended observability beyond traditional infrastructure into internet performance and digital experience, giving teams full context across the entire service delivery chain.

In modern environments, issues don't just originate inside the data center. Without end-to-end observability, including the internet layer, teams operate with blind spots. We close that gap and layer in AI-driven analysis and automated workflows to move from detection to intelligent, increasingly autonomous resolution.

At our scale, processing nearly 2 trillion metrics daily, we turn data into real-time action. And we do it in a single platform that brings observability, AI and automation together, eliminating the need for fragmented tools.

The proof is in enterprise adoption. Customers are consolidating onto our platform to simplify operations and accelerate outcomes.

For talent, this is what stands out: we're not maintaining legacy systems. We're building agentic systems at scale, solving problems without playbooks and giving teams real ownership in shaping the future of IT.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

The expansion bet we're most excited about is building a unified platform that brings together observability, AI and agentic IT automation across infrastructure and the internet. Catchpoint is central to that strategy, extending us from internal systems to full digital experience.

This drives a shift from reactive monitoring to proactive, AI-driven, increasingly autonomous IT operations where systems don't just detect issues, but reason and act on them.

The key leading indicator is how quickly customers adopt these capabilities, especially AI-driven features and internet-layer observability. Customers generating over $100,000 in ARR represent roughly 80 percent of our revenue and are growing around 25 percent year-over-year. Their expansion signals real value.

We also track how deeply we integrate into workflows. As customers consolidate onto a single platform, it signals both deep trust and a move toward autonomous, AI-driven IT operations.

For talent, this is the opportunity; joining a team building the systems that will define how IT operates over the next decade. It's high-impact work, at real scale, with the ability to shape both the product and the category in real time.

Lindsay Browning
Regional VP, Enterprise Sales • monday.com

monday.com is an AI-powered work platform that empowers teams to orchestrate complex workflows, automate manual tasks and execute their work.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

A milestone that defines our trajectory is the 45 percent year-over-year increase in 2025 of customers with more than $100,000 in ARR. In a year where enterprise budgets have been under scrutiny, this growth is a powerful vote of confidence from complex, global brands, with customers over $500,000 in ARR growing even faster at 74 percent YoY in 2025.

This proves that monday.com is being integrated into the core infrastructure of the world's largest organizations and successfully moving upmarket. When a Fortune 500 company expands their seat count by the thousands, it's a credible signal that our platform has solidified its position as business-critical to enterprises across the globe.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

Our competitive edge is that AI is embedded into the core of our platform, rather than being a 'bolt-on' feature. We empower teams to build their own custom, AI-powered solutions in minutes through tools like monday vibe, which has become the fastest product in our history to surpass $1 million in ARR. Our goal is for every employee to have their work powered by intelligence that plans, decides and runs alongside them.

The proof of this 'democratized AI' is in our metrics: newer products like monday CRM and monday service continue to gain significant traction. With monday vibe and our AI work capabilities, we are proving that we can spin up new revenue streams quickly and meet the complex, evolving needs of enterprise customers.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

I am most excited about our bet on autonomous AI agents and orchestration, which has evolved monday.com from a platform that manages work to one that does the work for you. We are building a unified platform where AI agents can independently reason, act and execute across workflows.

The leading indicator I'm watching is the adoption and action volume within our new AI layers — already, monday blocks have powered over 77 million actions and sidekick has processed over 500,000 user messages, as of December 2025. When we see non-technical teams in HR or Legal solving complex problems in minutes that used to require a six-month IT roadmap, we know we've successfully shifted from being a tool they use, to serving as the foundation of their execution.

Justine Robertson
Managing Director, Head of U.S. Sales and Client Strategy • Trumid

Trumid is a fintech company that brings technology and product design to corporate bond trading.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

Trumid is a dynamic financial technology company reshaping fixed income trading. We operate one of the three largest electronic corporate bond trading platforms in the United States, built on a network-driven model that connects a growing community of ~1,000 global institutions.

The clearest measure of our strength this year is the depth and breadth of client adoption across the platform — a reflection of an increasingly activated network of participants engaging with one another. Participation is at all-time highs across our network of asset managers, banks, hedge funds and alternative liquidity providers, driving a double-digit increase in market share, with average daily volume surpassing $10 billion for the first time in Q1 2026.

But what matters most is how clients are using Trumid. In 2025, around 40 percent of clients who traded on the platform executed in three or more protocols, demonstrating how Trumid is becoming embedded in daily workflows and valued for bringing multiple trading workflows together in a single application.

That's the real signal: a network where engagement drives liquidity and liquidity drives further participation.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

One of our key strengths is the combination of an agile, scalable technology platform and a high- touch, "white glove" client service model. We work closely with clients to design workflows that align with how they trade. That collaboration is embedded across our product, sales and technology teams, who engage directly with clients and translate feedback into enhancements at pace.

In 2025 alone, we delivered more than 750 functionality enhancements and new features to the platform, with one-third directly driven by client input. This responsiveness is supported by a rapid release cycle, with updates delivered daily and weekly, allowing us to continuously evolve the platform while maintaining the reliability and performance clients expect.

This approach is especially impactful in more complex trading. Our portfolio trading franchise, combining Trumid PT Pricer™ analytics with high-touch service, has become an award-winning, go-to solution for clients.

The result is a platform that feels tailored to each client while delivering scale, consistency and innovation.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

One of the expansion bets that excites us most is scaling the impact of AI-powered automation across the Trumid platform. We're investing heavily in tools that streamline credit trading workflows — reducing clicks, compressing steps and saving valuable time for our clients, particularly in fast-moving markets where speed and precision matter most.

Whether it's improving internal efficiency, surfacing client insights, or helping us code and move faster in development, we see AI and automation as key to enhancing client workflows and evolving the platform.

The indicators we watch most closely remain tied to engagement: adoption across protocols, the breadth of client participation and how deeply the platform becomes embedded in client workflows.

Ultimately, our goal is simple: to continue building a network that combines innovative technology, thoughtful product design and high-touch service, where client partnership and Trumid's ideas-driven teams continuously push the platform and the credit market forward.

Apollo Limberatos
Director, Strategy and Operations • Pangea Money Transfer

Pangea Money Transfer is a digital money transfer platform that makes sending money abroad simple, reliable and cost-effective.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

Revenue retention best captures strength this year and in years to come because it shows whether customers are finding enough ongoing value to keep sending volume through you over time.

It is credible for a few reasons. First, it is hard to fake. New customer growth can hide weaknesses, but retention shows whether the product, pricing and experience are truly working. Second, it is directly tied to lifetime value. In digital remittances, long-term value comes from repeat usage, trust and share of wallet, not just one-time transactions. Third, it reflects how well we understand and serve customer needs across the full experience, from pricing and speed to reliability and support.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

We are strongest competitively in building exactly what our customers want. That strength is backed by the discipline we bring to understanding the market and the customer before we build — through in-depth market research, direct customer interviews and close attention to evolving needs.

The proof is in the outcome: this approach helps drive the revenue retention we highlighted above. When customers continue to stay and grow with us over time, it is strong evidence that we are delivering solutions that fit their needs and create lasting value.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

The expansion bet that excites us most is our new customer insights dashboard. Our customers send roughly 30 percent of their income back home, often to multiple receivers, so this feature gives them a clear view of all of their transfers in one place and helps them better manage their finances.

The leading indicator we will watch first is feature adoption — how many customers are interacting with the dashboard. From there, the most important proof point will be whether users of the dashboard show stronger retention over time, since that will indicate the feature is delivering meaningful value.

Scott Cornelis
Chief Financial Officer • Enova

Enova International is a financial technology company providing online financial services through its machine learning-powered lending platform.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

While 2025 was a year of record-breaking numbers across the board for Enova, the metric that best captures our fundamental strength is our 42 percent year-over-year increase in Adjusted EPS.

That's not just a growth metric — it's a reflection of disciplined execution. It demonstrates our ability to convert revenue into earnings efficiently, supported by strong unit economics, consistent credit performance and a scalable operating model.

Importantly, this level of earnings growth is repeatable thanks to our diversified product offerings and world-class technology and lending capabilities. It's driven by structural advantages in how we acquire customers, underwrite risk and manage costs — not by short-term tailwinds.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

Our competitive strength starts with our people. At Enova, we've built a highly analytical, technology-oriented team that is empowered to make decisions close to the data, which drives speed, accountability and continuous improvement.

That talent enables our broader advantages — namely our technology-driven approach to lending, diversified product portfolio and focus on serving consumers and small businesses that have historically been underserved by traditional financial institutions.

Our data-driven underwriting and pricing capabilities allow us to make faster, more informed credit decisions and adapt quickly as market conditions evolve. Combined with a diversified set of products, this gives us the flexibility to manage risk effectively while continuing to grow.

The results reflect that model. We've delivered consistent growth in originations alongside stable credit performance and profitability — demonstrating our ability to scale responsibly and perform across cycles.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

I'm especially excited about our recently announced Grasshopper Bank acquisition. Moving to a national bank charter is a transformational step for Enova. It will strengthen our ability to better serve the millions of consumers and small businesses historically overlooked by traditional banks with a more comprehensive suite of financial products.

From a financial standpoint, we'll continue to focus on disciplined, profitable growth. Key indicators include sustaining strong risk-adjusted returns, driving Adjusted EPS growth and continuing balance sheet flexibility.

But, the most important leading indicator is whether we're offering products that truly meet customers' needs along their financial journey — delivering transparent, accessible solutions that address immediate challenges while helping them build long-term financial confidence, because if we get that right, the financial performance will follow.

Adam Fisher
Vice President of Sales • HopSkipDrive

HopSkipDrive is a technology company that solves complex transportation challenges where there is a heightened need for safety, equity and care.

Which metric or milestone best captures strength this year — and why is it credible?

Our strength is best captured by the interplay between Gross Dollar Retention and Time to First Ride. Together, these metrics provide the objective proof that we've built an environment where sales professionals can ramp quickly, close with total confidence and build a book of business that lasts.

For a new sales hire, TTFR signals world-class internal alignment. It means our implementation and support teams move in lockstep with sales to ensure a seamless transition for every district. By engineering out the industry-standard "growing pains" of implementation, we've created a high-speed execution engine. This drastically reduces your ramp time and ensures you can deliver on the promises you make to a client from day one.

Across our footprint of over 14,500 schools districts, our high GDR proves that we provide a product districts consistently rely on year after year. For a salesperson, this means you aren't constantly fighting to replace "leaky bucket" revenue or starting from scratch every season. Instead, you are building real, compounding relationships in a stable environment where the value you sell today becomes the permanent foundation of your success tomorrow.

Where are you strongest competitively — and what proof backs that?

My greatest competitive strength is resilient persistence. Since moving from Australia to the United States 13 years ago, I have navigated a path that was rarely visible and frequently met with resistance. Building anything of substance requires the resilience to absorb a "no" and the persistence to convert it into a "yes." Competitive strength comes from giving stakeholders a reason to believe in a vision through relentless focus and a commitment to overcoming the hurdles inherent in student logistics.

The proof of this strength is twofold: access and longevity. My ability to "get in the room" — whether entering a new country or a new school district — is the initial evidence of that persistence. However, the ultimate proof is staying power. Performing consistently over extended periods and maintaining high-level execution 13 years later demonstrates that my competitive edge isn't just about the initial win, but the ability to deliver results long after the contract is signed.

What expansion bet excites you — and which leading indicator will you watch?

We are prioritizing two critical expansion plays: the growth of our Specialty Transportation services and the integration of RouteWise AI.

Our specialty transportation offerings — including wheelchair-accessible vehicles and rider assistants — represent a major growth opportunity. They solidify our commitment to serving the most vulnerable student populations by providing tailored, reliable experiences for students with unique needs. This allows us to tap into incremental business verticals while solving a high-stakes pain point for our district partners.

Simultaneously, RouteWise AI is transforming our value proposition. As we integrate AI deeper into our operations, this product serves as a unique solution for routing optimization, allowing districts to modernize logistics and realize significant cost savings. While revenue is the ultimate measure of success, the leading indicators I watch most closely are adoption rates and TTFR. High adoption across these new product lines indicates that we are successfully de-risking the implementation process and delivering immediate business impact for our clients.
