Zipp, part of bicycle component manufacturer SRAM’s family of brands, has unveiled the last offering in its S wheel series. The Zipp 404 S wheelset is designed to ensure premium aerodynamic performance for road cyclists.

The launch builds on the foundation laid by its 303 S predecessor, with the 404 S allowing for wider tires at lower pressures to support minimized vibration and improved rolling resistance. Engineered to be suitable for road racers, criterium specialists and other high-performance pavement riders, the price for these hookless rim wheels starts at $630.

“The Zipp 404 S was designed from the ground up to offer the fastest possible road wheel at our most attractive price point to the discerning cyclist looking to upgrade their experience on the road,” SRAM wrote in a LinkedIn post about the launch.
