Manifest Digital, a marketing agency with offices in Chicago and St. Louis, has received a $6 million infusion of cash from NewSpring Mezzanine.

Founded in 2001, Manifest is a full-service digital marketing operation with 150 employees, offering services in user experience design, content marketing, and social media. With a client roster that includes Motorola, Hasbro, and Purina, it's the largest independent agency of its kind in the Midwest and is listed among the 100 fastest-growing agencies in America, although it describes itself as “less of an agency and more of a lab.” It engages heavily with the Chicago tech and design communities, offering classes in UX design and more.

NewSpring Mezzanine, the dedicated mezzanine fund of NewSpring Capital, invested the money in partnership with Enterprise Bank and Trust. It follows a $9 million seed funding round that Manifest received from BIA Digital Partners in early 2009.

Manifest plans to use this infusion of funds to fuel its growth into next year. “NewSpring and Enterprise share our passion and values as it relates to future opportunities," said Manifest CEO Jason Benedict in a statement. "Accelerating growth and innovation will be our mantra in 2015."

"We are thrilled to partner with the management team of Manifest Digital," said NewSpring Capital principal Anne Vazquez in a statement. "We are confident that the Company's dominant position in the market coupled with its recent launch of its digital campaign cloud product, its best in class user experience lab and strong leadership will provide an excellent opportunity for growth into the future."
