Australia’s IT sector generated $34 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow 7.47 percent over the next five years. It’s also the country’s third largest industry and has been growing twice as fast than average employment rates in the past decade. This trend continues as businesses continue to overhaul their operations with more modern, digital outfits supplied by market-leading IT companies, like the ones listed below.

NinjaOne builds technology to make endpoint monitoring and management efficient for IT teams and managed service providers. Thousands of organizations across industries like education, financial services and healthcare use NinjaOne’s solutions to automate certain tasks such as patching and cut down on potential risks.

Founded in 1995, the company’s 1,200-person workforce interacts with a range of industries, from government and utilities sectors to the corporate world. In 2021, Deloitte named Kinetic IT as one of the best managed companies in the country.

 

MYOB is a software company known for its accounting, tax and bookkeeping solutions. Using its business-management platform, sole traders, startups and enterprise-level companies can streamline their cash flow, payroll and day-to-day operations across its archive of more than 350 apps. The company, which employs over 1,900 industry professionals, claims to be Australia’s first “unicorn” tech startup, established in 1991.

TechnologyOne is an IT firm that offers SaaS software through a cloud-based ERP suite. Its portfolio comes with 15 pre-configured products that assist with accounting, procurement, project and compliance management as well as supply chain operations through a single user-friendly interface. With over 1,200 employees and over $300 million in annual revenue, TechnologyOne’s products are used across industries, like education and government, supporting over 6.5 million students globally and one in four public sector organizations.
