Inc. recently released its 2021 list identifying the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the United States, with more than 200 Dallas-Fort Worth companies making the cut.

The list includes U.S.-based, privately held companies that were ranked by their percentage revenue growth between 2017 and 2020. In total, DFW companies on the list generated $10.7 billion in revenue and added over 15,400 jobs.

In recent years, Texas has become a tech hub with several companies moving or opening new offices in Austin; however, its neighbors to the north, Dallas and Fort Worth, are not far behind in the tech sphere.

There are already several large tech companies based in Dallas and Fort Worth whose names alone garner instant recognition and prestige. Companies like Capital One, AT&T, Lockheed Martin, IBM and Texas Instruments all call the DFW metro home.

A recent Axios report also found that the DFW metro has the third-largest influx of software and IT workers between 2019 and 2020. Forbes even went as far as labeling Dallas a possible “next Silicon Valley.”

But Inc. named the following seven companies, listed in reverse chronological order, the fastest-growing tech companies in DFW. Read below for more.
