The Hartford, a U.S.-based insurance provider, announced the opening of its India Technology Center in Hyderabad. Located in the city’s financial district, The Hartford’s new facility complements its existing tech centers in Connecticut, Illinois and North Carolina.
The office occupies the top two floors of Kalyani Trident and is equipped with ample collaboration areas, workstations and training facilities to support the company’s efforts to further its focus on AI advancement and digital innovation. The space also features a history wall highlighting The Hartford’s milestones across the 200 years since the company’s inception. The company chose Hyderabad for its expansion due to the city’s thriving ecosystem, diverse and skilled workforce and its reputation as a global innovation hub.
“By building on our world-class workforce with this technology center in Hyderabad, we are not only creating new digital and AI capabilities but also shaping the future of insurance technology,” Shekar Pannala, The Hartford’s CIO, said in a statement. “This center will be a magnet for talent in India — a place where engineering excellence and unified purpose drive innovation at scale.”
