San Francisco startup Fable Security has launched with $31 million in funding from Greylock Partners and Redpoint Ventures. Its goal is to help organizations reduce human-related cybersecurity risks.

Focused on sectors like finance, healthcare and logistics, Fable uses behavioral data to identify risky scenarios, such as employee-targeted AI-generated phishing or vishing scams. Its technology then intervenes by triggering AI-driven nudges, video briefings or messages through Slack and email.

According to a news release, since onboarding its first customer less than a year ago, Fable has helped organizations reduce phishing clicks by over 85 percent and double employee engagement after security training.
