E2B, a provider of cloud infrastructure for AI agents, has raised $21 million in Series A funding. The funding round was led by Insight Partners and will help E2B strengthen its open-source sandbox protocol.
E2B’s platform allows enterprises to run AI agents in sandboxed environments to complete complex tasks like generating reports or building websites. Its customers include AI innovators such as Hugging Face, Perplexity, Groq and Manus.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its cloud infrastructure, enhance its open-source interoperability with other infrastructure providers and scale its engineering and go-to-market teams globally.
