Cyera has announced a $540 million Series E funding round, bringing its total funding to over $1.3 billion and its valuation to $6 billion. The raise was led by Georgian, Greenoaks and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company also reported doubling its customer base within six months.
Cyera positions its platform as a solution to manage the increased risk associated with enterprise data in AI environments. Its data security posture management platform provides automated discovery, classification and protection of data across cloud, SaaS, on-premises and hybrid infrastructures. The company works to help organizations identify where data resides, its sensitivity, who can access it and how it is used.
The company reported a 353 percent year-over-year increase in usage among Fortune 500 companies, expansion into over 10 countries and a significant increase in its global team over the past 18 months. The new funding will be used to expand its platform, footprint and global customer base.
