Counsel Health has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz and GV to support the launch and expansion of its next-generation care platform. Its technology integrates AI with licensed physicians to provide more efficient and cost-effective healthcare, according to a company news release.

Designed to overcome the limitations of traditional telehealth, the platform offers 24/7 health support with real physicians available for diagnosis, prescriptions and referrals, while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Counsel says the new funding will also be used to grow its physician network and deepen partnerships with payers, employers and provider groups so that it can continue to serve its members.

This Series A round follows an $11 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz in October 2024.
