Judi Health, formerly known as Capital Rx, has announced a $400 million funding round to support its AI-powered health benefits platform. The investment was led by Wellington Management and General Catalyst, and coincides with the company’s rebranding to Judi Health to reflect its expansion beyond pharmacy benefits.
Judi Health is a health benefits technology company that aims to address inefficiencies and rising costs within the U.S. healthcare system. It developed an AI-powered platform for enterprise organizations, equipping them with a centralized solution for managing health benefits. The company currently has more than 4 million employer pharmacy benefit manager, or PBM, members and 54 million health plan lives contracted to use its platform.
The company plans to use the new funding to scale its solution and enhance its PBM operations. The platform is designed to integrate care navigation and claim administration for medical, vision, dental and pharmacy benefits. Judi Health will continue to operate its PBM under the Capital Rx brand, while the broader health benefits management platform will be known as Judi Health.
