The legal-tech startup landed a spot on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list in November. This month, it welcomed Melanie Antoon as its vice president of professional services. She brings more than 15 years of e-discovery experience to oversee DISCO’s project management, data operations and forensics teams in North America and Europe.
Favor promises to deliver anything in less than an hour and is available in more than 50 cities throughout Texas. It recently hired Gil Rios to design and improve the company’s customer experience as the senior director of support. Before coming to Favor, Rios worked on and led teams at Apple, Facebook and Dropbox. He has more than a decade of customer engagement experience across sales, support and operations.
2019 was a big year for this cybersecurity provider. In August, SecureLink was named in the Inc. 5000 annual list of the nation’s fastest -growing companies for the second year in a row. This month, the company welcomed two new team members to meet its goals to expand into new markets, grow its sales and marketing teams and develop partnerships.
Paul Dodd was brought in as the company’s new chief growth officer. He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience for some of the largest high-tech companies, including Google, Dell and AMD.
Laurie Coffin came on as SecureLink’s senior vice president of marketing after spending more than 20 years in tech marketing, working for companies like IXIA, Blue Coat and Tivoli. Coffin also serves on as a board member for the Girls Empowerment Network, an Austin-based nonprofit that teaches self-efficacy to girls and young women.
The software-enabled real estate company raised $7 million in seed funding and brought on hospitality veteran, Jason Ellefson, as its next head of operations. Ellefson has more than a decade of industry experience, opening hotels, restaurants and clubs in LA, Las Vegas and Miami. Ender hired Ellefson because his experience with building profitable businesses in a competitive field will help the company optimize income for property owners and create an elevated experience for tenants.
