The team

Our Recruiting Team is the driving force behind our growth, nestled within our People Ops organization. We're a dedicated group committed to assembling exceptional teams that fuel Route's success. The opportunity

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to fulfill the organization’s recruiting needs. You'll establish relationships with leaders, hiring managers, and our PeopleOps partners to identify talent that aligns with requirements and advances our company's strategic plans. Additionally, you will actively participate in coordination, sourcing and special projects such as enhancing quality-of-hire, reducing time to fill, and delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate Candidate Interviews: Support our recruiting team in scheduling and coordinating interviews for all open roles, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Enhance Candidate Experience: Streamline the interview process from end-to-end to ensure that candidates have an exceptional experience, reflecting positively on our employer brand.
  • Recommend Recruitment Strategies: Evaluate and recommend recruitment strategies and solutions to enhance our efficiency, including interview training, funnel analytics, and enablement content.
  • Collaborate for Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior recruiters and the head of talent to identify opportunities for improvement in our recruiting process and efficiency.
  • Resume Screening and Application Review: Assist in reviewing resumes and applications received for open positions, screening candidates based on specified criteria, and recommending qualified candidates for further consideration.
  • Intake Meeting Participation: Partner with recruiters to shadow and partake in intake meetings, gaining insights into the hiring needs and strategies for each role.
  • Sourcing and Candidate Engagement: Utilize sourcing tools to identify, message, engage, and screen potential candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

What we’re looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting strategies and candidate evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software such as Greenhouse, Prelude, LinkedIn Recruiter, and TalentWall.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously while splitting time between recruiting, coordination, and sourcing if required.
  • Experience coordinating, sourcing, and recruiting for strategic and high-volume positions.

Pay Transparency

Salary for this role: $54,000 - $75,000

The cash compensation above includes base salary, and is not reflective of potential commission for employees in eligible roles, or annual bonus targets under Route’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all Route employees are eligible to participate in Routes equity incentive plan to receive stock options per the terms of the agreement. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their career level, skills, experience, specific geographic location qualifications and other job-related reasons.
