Strategic Partner Associate

We are looking for Strategic Partner Associate to join the Strategic Partner Manager team within our Customer Success division. In this role, the Strategic Partner Associate will act as a key point of contact, trusted advisor, advocate, and partner to athena's strategic partners. This individual will project manage & execute key initiatives including but not limited to integration optimization, new product & service roll out, and new business development opportunities. This individual will also build & foster strategic relationships with your peers at the Partner's organization and as a bridge, liaison, and escalation path between stakeholders at athena and the Partner to drive efficiencies and resolve issues in order to meet business goals. The Strategic Partner Associate will also have comprehensive knowledge of all of the Partners current integrations as well as athena's suite of interoperability offerings and use cases to further drive the access, utility, and performance of the Partner's integrations.

The Team: The Strategic Partner Manager team is responsible for developing and leveraging relationships with strategic interoperability vendors to promote innovation, improve processes and deliver an improved embedded interop experience with performance benefiting our mutual client networks and patients. We specialize in taking product features built with 3rd parties and creating an interop experience to ensure high-quality and sustainable healthcare for all.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build & foster strategic relationships with your peers at the Partner's organization
  • Proactively and reactively identify optimization opportunities
  • Establish regular meeting cadence to surface & discuss optimization & product/service expansion opportunities and review ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Act as a bridge, liaison, and escalation path between stakeholders at athena and the Partner to drive operational efficiencies and resolve issues in order to deliver on customer commitments, expectations & shared goals
  • Responsible for customer invoices and case management (where applicable)
  • Provide escalation path for Strategic Partners and maintain a tracker of Issues and escalations
  • Project manage the successful execution, implementation and adoption of key product, process, & service improvement projects and track ongoing impact of changes on performance metrics
  • Conduct regular scheduled calls with internal/external stakeholders and follow through on task management
  • Motivate and involve stakeholders to engage in implementing and supporting change and driving results
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, advanced degree a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in technical project management, relationship management role
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders to drive change internal and at the Partner organization
  • Strong computer literacy and the comfort, ability, and desire to advance technically
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail in order to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work across several project tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate potential conflicts to manager
  • Strong verbal communication and business writing skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates a high degree of customer service and relationship building abilities, displays excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to champion the cause of the customer
