Sr. Manager, Creative Department - Primal Kitchen at a glance...
The Creative Department Senior Manager is the quarterback for all creative initiatives for Primal Nutrition, LLC., leading production meetings, prioritizing creative projects, teaching team best practices and more! Seeking an individual with a strong aptitude for big-picture thinking and systems analysis to drive holistic problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities include managing project assignments and workflows during the entire lifecycle of marketing, packaging and creative projects by aiding communication and coordination between Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Operation, Graphics, vendors, and more.
What's on the menu?
Lead operational processes and project management of graphics department with assignments from Innovation and Marketing. This involves cross functional leadership between:
○ Innovation (new product development)
○ Primal Kitchen Operations (product production and timing)
○ Sales Team (needs and timelines)
○ Marketing (deadlines and goals)
○ Regulatory (requirements and timing)
Champion Holistic Problem-Solving: Bring your knack for seeing the bigger picture and analyzing systems to the table. Work closely with the team to develop processes and adapt them if they don't quite hit the mark, without ever resorting to a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll tackle complex challenges and make strategic decisions that leave no stone unturned.
Pipeline Development: Create and manage a structured systems pipeline that involves collaborating with the Marketing team to refine project details before finalizing creative direction. Ensure all essential elements, including legally approved content, are in place before engaging the Creative Department.
Manage relationships with Getty, Weston Graphics, printers or other key creative vendors.
Help maintain the integrity of the Primal Kitchen Brand through light proofing and file review.
○ Establish, maintain and track a proofing process of in-house art before file release in cooperation with all department
○ Maintaining a database of legal guidance and decisions to be used in the review of marketing claims.
Provide a comprehensive overview and tracking of all graphics requests as well as aid communication between departments, so we can establish reasonable due dates and comprehensive timelines for all projects in:
○ Packaging
○ Print Advertisement
○ Digital Advertisement
○ Tradeshow Graphic
○ Influencer Swag
○ And other marketing and creative duties upon request
Managing Primal Kitchen's transition to a new Project Management platform.
Help coordinate departmental a new system for tracking and keeping access to working files and Primal Kitchen photo library.
Provide intelligent reviews and assessments of new graphics jobs based on an existing and extensive knowledge of industry practices and printing processes, etc.
Instituting a new process of evaluating and critiquing printed labels so we can reach out to our printers and achieve better quality control over our final labels without requiring on-site Press Checks.
Ability to contribute to all areas of a Marketing Department including brand reviews, social media, award submissions as well as other Marketing needs.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications, which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.• 5-10 Year experience in graphic design and creative agency
Knowledge:• Proficient in Basecamp and other team process management• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PPT, Word
• Experienced with all Adobe suite programs
SKILLS & ABILITIES:• Ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative recommendations and solution
• Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skill
• Strong customer, quality and results orientation• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures• Ability to be an effective team member and manage various project
• Ability to assist in facilitating progressive change

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
