Job Summary: We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Senior Manager, Sales Performance & Enablement to join our Sales Operations team for Generac's Consumer Power business unit. This role is pivotal in operationalizing the strategic roadmap for sales leaders across multiple sales channels and defining consistent sales performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales strategy, operational excellence, and leadership within a complex, multi-channel sales environment.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales VPs and other senior leaders to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements across all sales channels.
  • Document multi-phased action plans to bring to life the sales initiatives.
  • Own the intake process for sales continuous improvement projects gathering ideas across the business to drive revenue or optimize sales' time.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance sales productivity and optimize sales process efficiency.
  • Coordinate and facilitate strategic planning sessions and leadership meetings to ensure focus on key business priorities.
  • Partner with sales leadership and channel management team to identify and outline overarching sales process.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce team and platforms team to provide business requirements that leverage our tech stack to support key business processes and reporting.
  • Build and operationalize the strategic roadmap for multiple sales channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Build consistent and comprehensive business requirements for sales performance reporting across all sales channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales, operations, finance, analytics, and marketing departments to foster an integrated approach to sales and business strategy.
  • Lead and execute key pilot projects for sales allowing us to test and learn quickly with a goal towards scaling across channels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in sales operations, business strategy, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales performance reporting and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using CRM and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Direct leadership experience capable of motivating a high performing team
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Ability to think cross functionally and provide solutions with the ability to scale across a large, complex organization.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and the ability to communicate findings cross-functionally to drive action planning and execution.
  • Ability to convert metrics into meaningful, digestible information.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Able to influence others without direct authority and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, management, motivation, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and vision.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and lead teams effectively and motivate them to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with sales teams, senior management, and other stakeholders.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel. (If travel percentage is required beyond occasional or is a regular part of the job, include "Up to x% travel and valid Driver's License required.")
