HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

North Highland is seeking to hire a Senior Manager with Public Sector Experience to help lead projects and drive growth within the State of Tennessee.

YOU WILL:

  • Drive growth by developing strong working relationships with key agency executives and key partner relationships.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects and set clear expectations and project outcomes; monitor and track progress and identify risks and challenges in a timely manner; develop and lead the strategic approach and direction of new projects.
  • Identify the complex problems facing our clients and build plans that creatively address their challenges. Guide teams in the development of impactful deliverables for multiple work streams that create long-term change.
  • Play a leading role in your team's growth through coaching and constructive review of ongoing engagements.
  • Develop and mentor the account team to ensure strong career development and growth, and function as an exemplar of core values with deep understanding of the importance of team culture
  • Manage contract compliance and associated processes related to subcontractors, statewide contract vehicles and procurement.
  • Lead the development of responses to Request for Proposals and Requests for Information.
  • Manage all aspects of operational needs related to the Tennessee account, with a focus on financial performance, engagement performance, account planning and coordination, and pursuit playbooks.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Public Sector experience mandatory
  • 7-10+ years of robust management consulting, advisory, or professional services. Experience leading project staffing, invoicing, budgeting, profitability analysis, and opportunity/funnel management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, lead project engagements, attract new business and build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives
  • A demonstrated track record of leading large, complex consulting engagements, with roles that involve building and fostering relationships with senior-level client executives.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding annual business development and managed revenue targets.
  • Ability to galvanize client stakeholders and teammates into action for a common goal through collaboration, building consensus, and authentically establishing credibility.
  • Experience developing proposals that successfully drive clients to choose a business solution.
  • Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. A master's degree and/or professional certifications are bonuses, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with Tennessee State Government agencies is preferred
  • Travel is minimal as focus will be on the State of Tennessee
