About the role

Join Zillow's fastest-growing division as our Senior Financial Analyst. Candidates should be strategy-driven, diligent, and proactive with a keen business intuition. With comfort in ambiguity and a passion for collaboration, you'll partner directly with business and product leaders to distill key financial insights into strategic recommendations for scalable profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth with forward-thinking strategies as a Senior Financial Analyst in our rapidly scaling operations.
  • Partner directly with business leaders to make balanced and efficient decisions for long-term growth.
  • Support our Finance Manager and VP of Finance in scaling business towards long-term objectives.
  • Manage full P&L for Seller Products and Spruce, encompassing long-term financial model ownership, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and strategic ad hoc analysis.
  • Develop strategies, evaluate opportunities, and provide clear recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • Construct reporting and modeling functions within our financial planning tool.
  • Tackle multiple ad hoc requests, demonstrating flexibility and focus adaptability.
  • Conduct and lead meetings, presenting key insights to executive decision-makers.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $80,900.00 - $129,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 2 years in investment banking or corporate finance and are proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modelling in Excel. You also have experience with SQL and/or Tableau.
  • Additionally, degrees or equivalent experiences in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields, alongside strong written and interpersonal communication skills will be advantageous.
