SOCi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in complex financial modeling, optimizing resource allocation, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budget variance analysis, headcount planning, and gross profit analysis, to identify trends and opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Partner: The Finance team maintains close relationships with leaders across the organization, assisting with ad hoc projects and deliverables. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive results by delivering timely and accurate data.
  • Close Process: Participate in the close process for the Finance team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in reporting packages for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Compile, analyze, and distribute ad hoc reporting to equity partners and other key stakeholders, going beyond traditional leadership and board decks to include PE reporting packages, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks, driving efficiencies and accuracy in data distribution through Finance software platforms or other recurring channels.
  • Variance Analysis and Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks, driving efficiencies and accuracy in data distribution through Finance software platforms or other recurring channels.
  • SaaS Expertise: Leverage your background in high-growth SaaS companies to bring industry-specific insights and best practices to help identify inputs that drive KPI performance.

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely 
  • Must Have:  
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, with a total of 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles.
    • Financial Modeling Expertise: Extensive experience and expertise in financial modeling scenarios, including Leveraged Buyouts (LBOs), buy and sell-side scenario modeling, and M&A due diligence.
    • Proven ability to create and analyze complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
    • Extreme Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to approach financial analysis with a high degree of analytical rigor, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
    • Strong quantitative skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience using financial software and data platforms for analysis and reporting.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
