Cask is seeking an Engagement Manager to serve as a high energy trusted partner to our clients. Passionate about solving problems, building relationships, realizing value, and driving projects to completion, the Engagement Manager is an integral part of the Cask Delivery Team. The Engagement Manager will work with both internal and external stakeholders to Establish, Align, Deliver, and Sustain client relationships, client programs and projects. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Establishes trusted client relationships to promote organic account growth
  • Engages project resources to drive client objectives
  • Tracking and reporting of hours, budget and risk
  • Manages Mid to Large scale projects with multiple workstreams
  • Lead the development of project charters, plans, and schedules
  • Manage project budgets, communication plans, project review meetings, and deliverables
  • Lead, challenge, inspire, and provide feedback to all resources assigned to the engagement
  • Responsible for resource scheduling, burned hours management, and reporting
  • Establishes strong client relationships to organically grow accounts
  • Delivers weekly project status reporting to various internal and external stakeholders, on the topics of: Schedule, Scope, Budget, Risks, Issues, and Action Items and Vendor management
  • Resource and lead cross-functional extended project teams
  • Coordinate strategic and operational meetings, and follow up with meeting notes
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects are properly transitioned from Sales to the Delivery Team following the Cask Value Delivery Model (CVDM)
  • Create project plans / schedules that align to processes and deliverables identified in the engagement Statement of Work
  • Keep department leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results
  • Partner with the Resource Manager to ensure projects are adequately staffed and resource plans are maintained; Ensure contracts for offshore/1099's are created and maintained
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure invoices are sent out correctly and on time, reporting on profitability, and adhering to financial requirements of the client

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience managing ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects
  • Recognized as subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional
  • Requires specialized skill set
  • Conducts highly complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar project management role
  • 3+ years managing multiple, concurrent, client facing enterprise software deployment engagements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional services organization or as a consultant
  • Sound business acumen
  • Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner with employees at all levels of organizations
  • Self-efficacy and confidence to follow up with action items at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to adhere to and report upon project budgets
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with ability to self-manage
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting accurate information and data within tight deadlines
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Education/Certification

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • ITIL certification
  • SAFe certification
  • Agile Methodology - CSM certification
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Note: Base salary range is $96,000 to $158,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
