The Senior Director of Security & Information Technology is responsible for establishing the IT roadmap to ensure that the Company's business operations can grow efficiently and effectively on a global scale. The role can be based in Boston, MA or London, UK.  You will oversee the enhancement and overall daily operations of the Information Technology department. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction and oversight in the areas of Infrastructure, Security and Compliance, Operational Applications and Help Desk Services. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Create and manage a transformation plan to modernize strategy, processes, technology and talent based on the business’ strategic priorities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that IT infrastructure and approach is consistent with key operational and sales business functions - Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, etc.
  • Contribute to secure architecture and design of Catapult products.
  • Work across various product and engineering teams to prioritize security features and bugs, and ensure implementation and mitigations.
  • Partner with Engineering and advise on security assessments (dynamic testing, static testing, code review, etc.) and threat modeling of Catapult products, services, and associated cloud infrastructure.
  • Efficiently operate and scale the IT operations across multiple regions.
  • Ensure the business has the data and tools it needs to make decisions in a timely, accurate, and flexible manner.
  • Lead incident management and resolution as required including identify and deliver areas of improvement. 
  • Design Cloud footprint for internal business operations, ( Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing and Operations departments) and assist in evaluating and selecting the appropriate tools necessary to meet the underlying business objectives.
  • Establish both operational effectiveness and performance improvements through the effective delivery of IT services, including overseeing management of business. collaboration tools and their respective maintenance, configuration, and integration.
  • Recommend and implement processes that show how IT investments are delivering on their expected/committed value proposition.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and implement an IT governance framework, underlying policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for the company 
  • Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology and recommend actions within a defined budget.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all team members.
  • Bring clarity and direction to strategic business decisions by enabling the data used within the company to map to key company goals, metrics, and data insights.

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • At least 10 years of experience working in an enterprise environment with private/public cloud environments.
  • A background in software development, preferably DevSecOps.
  • Successful track record of IT Leadership, execution and delivery.
  • Experience managing IT Security for a public company.
  • Experience in organizations with established IT infrastructure within rapidly growing companies where systems and processes need to be designed and implemented.
  • Extensive experience working in an enterprise environment with private/public cloud environments with deep knowledge in secure development practices, and integration into broader engineering activities.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with proven ability to present strategic information to, and drive change across a broad range of technical and business internal audiences.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships and the trust necessary to drive change.
  • Proven focus on internal customer satisfaction.

Experience with product / service architectures in modern cloud environments (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), and with

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS). 
  • application and infrastructure security testing methodologies and tools.
  • security design / architecture and threat modeling.
  • vulnerabilities management
  • product vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • security audits, penetration tests, and/or bug bounty programs.
  • cryptography and cryptographic libraries.
