ICF is looking for a Senior Capture Manager for our Energy, Environment and Infrastructure business. This position is 100% Remote in the United States. Minimal travel expected.

As an experienced Senior Capture Manager, you will help drive positioning, capture, and proposal development for business development opportunities within our energy, environment, and infrastructure business.

You will help guide strategy discussions, positioning activities, and proposal development for specific opportunities, with a focus on the water and natural resources sectors within our Environmental & Planning Division. You will provide strategic and tactical leadership, working with senior business development staff and subject matter experts, to drive external and internal activities to increase our likelihood to win.

What you'll be doing:• Working with senior business development staff to lead pursuit teams to identify and fully qualify large/strategic opportunities and increase the probability of winning through innovative thinking, bold action, and efficient proposal development. • Leading the development of the win strategy and identifying critical activities and resources needed to increase the win probability.• Ensuring client-focused activities are taking place, including devising call plans, setting up and attending key client and stakeholder meetings in concert with business leaders and subject matter experts throughout the life of the pursuit.• Sourcing teaming partners and helping to negotiate teaming agreements and work share, including MBE/WBE/BDE participation as appropriate, prior to RFP release.• Ensuring win strategies and differentiators are compelling to our clients and aligned to their priorities, etc.• Collaborating with senior business development staff and/or subject matter experts to develop a technical solution that is vetted with the client.• Reporting on the progress of the pursuit and communicating issues and potential solutions to leadership in the event they arise.• Working with senior business development staff and/or marketing to develop necessary thought leadership, campaign, or social media activity.• Ensuring the messages and solutions developed during capture are clear and compelling and are incorporated into the proposal.• Researching, organizing, writing, and editing proposal content, including executive summaries, project descriptions/past performance, resumes, QA/QC plans, teaming/use of subconsultants, etc.• Coordinating with the Corporate Enterprise Proposal Center (EPC) and the EEI BD team to secure additional BD support (e.g., Proposal Coordinator, Editors, Graphic Artists, etc.), as needed.• Facilitating proposal close-out activities, including conducting internal debriefs, gathering lessons learned, compiling and archiving proposal materials in sector- and/or practice-based SharePoint sites for future use (e.g., project paragraphs, firm bios, sample text) and increased efficiency. • Serving as teaming partner liaison to foster long-term and more effective partnerships.

Must Have Qualifications:• 10+ years overall experience, which must include 6+ years of experience as a Capture and/or Proposal Manager, preferably with a professional services firm(s) • 5+ years' experience serving state and local, federal government, and commercial clients. • Verifiable record of leading and winning captures/proposals for new business opportunities greater than $5 million. • Firm understanding of disciplined capture and proposal processes - able to develop sound win strategy and value propositions and winning proposals that are aligned to the client's unique needs and priorities.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree.• Direct experience in the environment & planning space related to the transportation, water, energy, or natural resources sectors.• Demonstrated competence in leading and influencing high-performance teams.• Experience with InDesign

Professional Skills:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong relationship management skills. • Agile decision-making, valuing diversity of thought, with the ability to apply sound judgment to make informed decisions.• Ability to work as part of an integrated business development team and, when necessary, to work independently to drive opportunities and associated activities forward.• Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.• High level of attention to detail

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$112,513.00 - $191,273.00
