Job Summary

The Market Segment Manager will deliver budgeted sales and profit objectives by leading Liquibox' s growth-centric relationship with a portfolio of existing and targeted customers. This role is the owner and "quarterback/captain" for the Liquibox cross-functional and value-based relationship and partnership with every customer in the assigned area. The Market Segment Manager will have responsibility for customers/prospects that cross multiple segments

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Role:

Drive mutual growth within each customer to enable the attainment of sustainable Liquibox sales and margin-to-budget

Build professional relationships at all levels of customer procurement product package development marketing management manufacturing facilities etc to understand the customer's needs priorities and drivers that the Liquibox product portfolio can address

Develop and deliver customer-specific value proposition that enables growth within existing accounts and captures new opportunities within target accounts

Owns the customer relationship and the overall DSS relationship with the customer

Utilizes cross-functional Liquibox resources customer solutions RD marketing etc to enhance overall value proposition for any given opportunity sales presentation innovation summit plant tours etc

Understand the customer's business growth agenda key areas of focus etc

Accountabilities:

Deliver top-line revenue and overall gross margin by growing within existing accounts along with attaining new business through leads prospects qualifying to close

Management of ongoing contract adherence

Proactively sells product innovation

Deliver accurate sales forecasts by customer

CRM Salesforcecom excellence call planning post call reporting crisp opportunity management

Customer plant site visits to drive awareness of potential plant-level opportunities

Measurements:

Sales reporting on territory account portfolio to budget revenue

Number of new opportunities opened within existing and target customers

N2 customer wiring penetration 2 levels above procurement and out to other functions and deeper

Inventory aged by customer by plant

TE Budget to Actuals

Forecast accuracy reports

CRM Adoption metrics of opportunities lead generation and conversion to opportunities call reporting etc

Experience & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or applicable technical field.

Experience: Required 5-7 years of sales experience in flexible or packaging or consumer products industry.

Specific skills: Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Negotiating Skills, Dealing with Ambiguity, Interpersonal Savvy, Business Acumen. Full grasp of virtual selling tools (Teams, Zoom, etc,) and ability to present in these tools.

Computer Experience & Software: CRM Excellence (Sales Force preferred) and Microsoft Suite.

Work Environment:

Position is remote, with travel up to 50%.
