Role Overview


As a rapidly growing, VC-backed social enterprise, we are seeking an energetic, efficient, enterprising full-time Impact Project Manager in Colombia to help successfully execute Verified Plastic Removal Impact Projects in accordance with rePurpose Global's protocol. You will build rePurpose Global's main product offering of Verified Plastic Removal by developing and managing the project of Sueno Azul, and delivering comprehensive impact on the ground. You will be working closely with Vinay Sharma, our Senior Manager of Impact Projects and coordinating with team members and impact partners to deliver on your objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Impact Project Management: Work directly with the impact partners to implement plastic recovery projects. Drive all aspects of project operations from ideation to reporting and achieve collective project objectives.
  • Impact Process: Employ project processes & protocols to create a best-in-class project delivery for rapid impact fulfillment including project verification and on-site auditing.
  • Internal & External Stakeholder Management: Actively participate with different stakeholders to improve close cooperation and relationship building through effective communication and collaboration with a special focus on impact partners.
  • Quality Management: Ensure adherence and deliver high quality impact through implementing traceability, monitoring and verification across projects.
  • Social Impact: Deploy, monitor and evaluate several socio-economic programs across Impact Projects. Work closely with the Impact partners to improve social accountability in the value chain.
  • Team Management: Manage interns and associate/senior associates while being invested in their growth.

What We Are Looking For


📌 Experience in evaluation, implementation and management of Impact Projects (of both environmental & social nature) with focus on the waste management sector.


📌 Strong background in running successful stakeholder management processes and programs ideally in the environmental and waste management sector.


📌 Good working knowledge of project management principles, creating and maintaining project and team level KPIs through project management tools.


📌 Effective communication and problem-solving attitude to resolve operational challenges with all stakeholders.


📌 Fluency in Spanish and English is required.


📌 Knowledge or general awareness of safety and environmental compliance systems in terms of implementation will be preferred.


📌 Growth and innovation mindset to strive towards excellence in dedicated work streams while motivating team members to perform at peak productivity.


📌 Good sectoral knowledge of the waste management ecosystem with a strong industry network built over the years working in this sector.


📌 Adapt well to the fast-paced dynamic nature of a startup environment, with specific acumen such as rapid prototyping, resourcefulness, and creative problem solving.


📌 Distinctly passionate about environmental sustainability and socio-economic impact.
