We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Manager of Emerging Technology to direct operational exploration, adoption, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that have the potential to drive innovation and transformation. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional with a deep passion for staying at the forefront of technological advancements and possesses the leadership skills necessary to guide cross-functional teams toward the successful implementation of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

Technology Scouting and Evaluation: Stay updated on the latest trends and breakthroughs in emerging technologies relevant to the industry and the organization's goals. Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of technologies with the potential to provide a motivated advantage.• Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to develop a strategic roadmap for integrating emerging technologies into the organization's operations, products, and services. Translate business goals into actionable technology strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.• Cross-functional partnership: Work with high-performing teams of technology experts and professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Collaborate closely with departments such as Business Process Office, Marketing, Data, IT, and Operations to drive successful technology integration projects. Pilot Projects and Proof of Concepts Initiate and oversee pilot projects to test and validate the feasibility of emerging technologies in real-world scenarios. Define success criteria, monitor progress, and gather feedback to refine implementation strategies.• Vendor Management: Identify and partner with existing and new external vendors, startups, research institutions, and technology providers to access expertise and resources that complement the organization's technological goals.• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate potential risks associated with the adoption of emerging technologies and assist in the development of strategies to address these risks proactively.• Technical Expertise and Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging technologies, providing insights, guidance, and thought leadership across the organization.

• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the leadership to develop and manage budgets for emerging technology initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Generative and Open AI knowledge/experience
  • Scaled Agile methodology knowledge/experience
  • Process reengineering knowledge/experience
  • Business systems configuration knowledge/experience
  • Business systems configuration and product line management for CRM-type solutions
  • Knowledge and experience leading development teams within AI technology are highly desired.
