The Lead Technical Configuration Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration and implementation of standard and custom solutions through use of their prior Salesforce expertise. This crucial role will also provide subject matter expertise and consultation to both internal and external clients to ensure technology requirements and business processes are reviewed and understood, and will advise on the best possible solution and alternatives.

What you'll do:

  • Key activities include overall ownership of complex configurations throughout the implementation project life cycle for new and existing clients, including solution design, implementation, and unit testing activities.
  • Provide project direction, team leadership, and stewardship from ideation through requirements/design and implementation.
  • Assist and/or manage communications between the customer and the professional services team.
  • Consult with customers on functional and technical related aspects of design and project delivery that promote and support innovative technology solutions enabling speed to market and revenue growth realization.
  • As a project lead, provide technology input and status for executive reviews on initiatives in progress including: technology cost and time estimates, solution approach, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Handles key activities for multiple projects and clients simultaneously, while leading and/or supporting other team members.
  • Responsible for and/or supports customer management, in conjunction with the sales team and internal management. Conducts regular communications and maintains individual working relationships with customer personnel at the working and leadership levels to ensure successful delivery of the Equifax BusinessConnect managed package.
  • Utilizes existing Salesforce expertise including licensing, file/data space handling, limits and/or limitations of SFDC, page layouts, listviews, user rights, custom settings, etc, to support successful delivery of the Equifax BusinessConnect managed package.
  • Act as the BusinessConnect SME to support pre-sales activities, advise and consult with clients on appropriate solutions, and provide overall guidance and technical expertise to other professional services team members.
  • Work closely with Developers to design and implement complex decisioning logic within the managed package to ensure successful implementation and delivery of the Equifax BusinessConnect solution.

What experience you need:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Salesforce configuration analyst with deep understanding of classic and lightning views, application preferences, credit policies, lookups, record types, configuration of data providers and products
  • Strong Salesforce Admin experience (list views, page layouts, custom settings, user rights, etc.), and knowledge of Apex Data Loader (installation, configuration, and training)
  • Strong SQL/SOQL querying experience, with the ability to execute simple and complex queries to provide reports around customer data
  • Passion for technology, and the business opportunities that it presents, with the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Technical aptitude for technology applications with a functional knowledge of hardware and software components/capabilities
  • You've attained a Bachelor's degree, or higher level education (Computer Science or Mathematics preferred)
