Indirect Purchasing Buyer
Description
As the Indirect Purchasing Buyer you will be responsible for purchase of all or a specific portion of productive and/or non-productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling and/or services. Responsible for actively participating in development of commodity strategy, sourcing/negotiations, global/regional material budget execution, and interface with suppliers or internal stakeholders. Work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work and independent judgment.

- Provide value to GM by identifying cost savings opportunities and work with the stakeholders to develop them.
- Continuously searching for better suppliers to enrich GM database & the competition
- Relationship Development
- Contract management and building strategic relationship with suppliers and stakeholders
- Work on suppliers' complaints & solving issues promptly (receiving, payment issues, pricing issues, ..)
- Fully engage with regional team during team meetings & monthly trainings
- Ensure Business Process Compliance with regional / global up to date requirements
- Benchmark with other units in the region to share experience & continuous improvement.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree with a very good English & Arabic, both spoken & written (preferred in commerce or business economics or engineering)

- Detailed oriented & persistence
- Ability to work in agile environment
- Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships
- Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
