Fulfillment Support Supervisor
About the Team
The Operations team manages our worldwide distribution network and is responsible for authenticating our sneakers, fulfilling orders and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers. Through our technological innovation and logistical efficiency, you will join a team that prides itself on being the most trusted marketplace in the industry while shipping and processing tens of millions of products for our global buyers and sellers.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure and enforce a safe working environment for all employees
- Meet daily Fulfillment Support targets
- Provide training to current and new employees to maintain processes to expected standards
- Identifying training opportunities within the Fulfillment team and perform secondary quality checks to ensure the error has been corrected
- Communicate warehouse issues to Supervisors and Managers (ie, misplaced products, unlabeled products, process deviations )
- Assist in other areas when deemed necessary by the Operations leadership team
- Exemplify and Lead team through Goat’s 5 core values
- Foster an inclusive culture in the fulfillment support team
- Lead and train team on process and teamwork
- Train/onboard fulfillment team members on standards
- Create, recommend and train standards
- Execute warehouse opening and closing procedures
- Support product flow within the building
- Act as a leadership presence and provide oversight for team in Operations Supervisor’s absence
- Other duties as assigned
We are looking for:
- Must be analytical, demonstrating focus on recognizing and resolving issues
- A quick learner, self starter, and the ability to handle increasing levels of responsibility
- Knowledge and passion for sneakers is a plus, including familiarity with industry trends and resources
- Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 35 lbs
- 1-3 years experience leading a team in a warehouse or retail setting
