About this role:
As Director of Strategic Operations at Apixio, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, informing operational decisions, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization. We are looking for a candidate with 8-10+ years of experience who embodies the following attributes:
Who you are:
- Demonstrate proficiency in strategic analysis, financial acumen, and the ability to guide operational decisions effectively. Utilize a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Provide leadership, collaboration, and input into the development and usage of internal dashboards that help Apixio’s executive leadership team monitor important KPIs, business drivers, and trends
- Contribute to M&A opportunities, investments and other strategic initiatives
- Adaptability across various areas of expertise, staying agile in diverse environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and develop and drive innovative solutions.
- Thrive in dynamic settings with shifting priorities, showcasing resilience under pressure. Drive projects forward amidst uncertainty, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Possess strong business analysis skills to derive insights and inform decision-making processes. Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and performance evaluations.
- Exhibit aptitude in clear articulation of complex information, effective presentation packaging, and strategic positioning of messages and key takeaways. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a compelling and influential manner.
- Provide ad hoc analysis help drive company decisions
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in strategic analysis, consulting, or related roles preferably for growing technology or healthcare companies
- Proven track record of driving results through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Experience in healthcare, technology sectors or consulting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely both upstream and downstream.
- Pulling together across team efforts, be that bridge between compartments
The salary range below is for Base Salary. Total compensation also includes benefits and variable compensation. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
Base Compensation
$140,000—$185,000 USD
