Sentara is looking for a passionate Agile professional to join our team as Director Agile CoE !

This is a Full-Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Work Location:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or 4 years of related experience required.
  • Experience in Agile and Scaling Agile transformations with proven track record successfully maturing Program and Portfolio teams to independence.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in applying Lean Thinking, Systems Thinking and Change Management principles and practices.
  • Experience with multiple agile tools and leveraging them to run Agile and Scaling Agile initiatives. (e.g. Rally, Version One, Jira, AgileCraft, etc.)
  • Demonstrated servant and influential leadership.
  • Should have experience in process automation.
  • Expertise in RPA -Robotics Process Automation ( Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate)

some duties for the director are:

  • Define the agile at scale using SAFe transformation roadmap.
  • Drive the transformation of agile at scale to include metrics, team formation, ART launches, standards, etc.
  • Define and drive Agile Transformation at the Program and Portfolio Levels
  • Provide Strategic Guidance in Program and Portfolio formation, operation, and in overcoming organizational impediments.
