Data Integration Specialist III

Job Description:

LOCATION

Atlanta, GA or Jacksonville, FL - This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.

SUMMARY

Responsible for developing data integrations between ICE and our client's systems. Develops processes to convert data and prepares data for conversion through data mapping, modeling, and cleaning.

Responsible for supervising, leading, managing, and motivating our Data Support team, as well as supporting end users of the data products managed by the team. Work closely with engineering and product teams to create and maintain the data sets used to drive product growth and adoption within the ICE ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor daily work progress, and help Data Support team members with any blockers they encounter
  • Escalation point for issues originating within the Data Support team
  • Take a leading role in mapping, updating and validating of Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data
  • Implement complex data mapping and transformation according to technical, business, and operational requirements for all data feeds
  • Manage and monitor various alerting queues to ensure system performance, and escalate issues as they arise
  • Perform data analysis across multiple data sources to determine root causes for suspected data quality issues
  • Partner with other teams to create and enhance data quality
  • Collaborate with Technology Teams and outside stakeholders to inform, schedule and validate changes to data sets
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on ICE data definitions and data models, as well as the RESO Data Standard
  • Gain basic knowledge of data processes and information systems used to ingest and transform managed data sets
  • Help review materials to confirm their technical validity
  • Create transparency on data architectures and database models
  • Create and manage lists of data shares/traceability and systems supporting the data domain
  • Lead and mentor the team on performance and day to day tasks
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Requires 7+ years of data integration or related experience
  • Experience in data integration projects
  • Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
  • Experience in a client support role
  • Experience in a data quality or data compliance role
  • Experience as a team lead or management role
  • Team oriented - ability to build departmental and cross-functional relationships
  • High degree of creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with Multiple Listing Service (MLS) or real estate data
  • Knowledge of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Data Dictionary
  • Experience with oData/webAPI and DMQL/RETS
  • Knowledge of JSON
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Understand the integrity of data, including data extraction (ETL), manipulation, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/AWS Opensearch
